Tav Falco's Panther Burns may be the ultimate: Drenched in echo, Falco goes through a familiar repertoir of Elvis Presley-derived "whooops", mutters, and coos, while an amateurish backing band (that included Alex Chilton in the early years) grinds away looking like high school rocker's struggling through their first rehearsal.
